SITUATION AND DIRECTIONS

From your camp site Esterel Caravaning it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the Bagème village. When leaving Esterel Caravaning turn right direction Frejus – Saint Raphael, once at Frejus take the motorway A8 direction Draguignan. Exit at Le Muy – Draguignan then follow the directions Draguignan, Comps-sur-Artuby and then Bargème.

Bargème Village

At 78 kilometres from your camp site Esterel Caravaning you’ll find the medieval village Bargème. Bargème is at 1100 metres altitude and is the highest village in the Var. Situated at the top of a rocky hill its views dominate the fields and countryside, offering magical sights in all seasons.

Classed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, Bargème has exceptional historical buildings. For the lovers of ancient monuments and ruins Bargème is a must. It’s agitated past left the village partially destroyed by religious wars. The village is now a pleasant and peaceful place to enjoy a journey through the ages.
