Comps-sur-Artuby

At less than 70 kilometres from Esterel Caravaning you’ll find the charming village Comps sur Artuby. It was first built on a rocky hill top but was destroyed by numerous invasions, Comps sur Artuby was rebuilt at the foot of the church which is now its centre. It’s still perched at 900 metres altitude in the regional natural park in Verdon, not far from the beaches and the coastline on the Cote d’Azur.

Comps sur Artuby has long been an important stop off place between the Alps and the Mediterranean coast. The ancient fortified village on the top of a rock is now a charming little village surrounded by the valleys of Jabron, Verdon and Artuby canyon. Its exceptional situation and closeness to Verdon makes Comps sur Artuby a privileged place for all lovers of nature, walks, hikers and those looking for adventure.
