SITUATION AND DIRECTIONS

From your camp site Esterel Caravanning it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to the Monaco Principality. When leaving Esterel Caravanning turn right direction Frejus – Saint Raphael. Once at Frejus take the motorway A8 direction Nice then Monaco. Exit at Monaco then follow the road down that overlooks all of the Principality of Monaco.

At around 90 kilometres from Esterel Caravaning you’ll find the very famous Principality of Monaco.

With its 31 109 inhabitants on a territory of only 1974 sq metres, Monaco holds the world record of the highest number of inhabitants by sq metre and it’s the second smallest city in the world after the Vatican city. To try and compensate for its small size Monaco has proved its ingenuity by becoming the most sorts after territory today. In authorising games of financial gains in 1869 the Sovereign at the time Charles III abolishes personal, building and land taxes with the goal of causing construction frenzy on the territory.

Monaco is now internationally renowned for luxury and prestige, its common place to see giant yachts from all over the world in its Port. Benefiting from not only an extremely clement Mediterranean climate but also its closeness to Italy and the neighbouring large towns Cannes and Nice, Monaco also exceeds in hosting large international events.
