Situation / Directions to Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer

From our camp site Esterel Caravanning it takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to the village Rayol-sur- Mer. When leaving Esterel Caravanning turn right direction Frejus – Saint Raphael. Once at Frejus follow the coastal route direction Saint Tropez then direction La Mole and then Rayol.

Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer

At 60 kilometres from Esterel Caravaning you’ll find the costal village of Rayol-sur-Mer, which is part of the La Mole village found on the hillsides to the south of the sea front. Before its creation in 1925 the place where now stands the village only housed a few fishermen and was even referenced as an oak (cork) forest.

The village is spread out and has naturally wet exotic vegetation. This “garden village” looks over the magical Massif des Maures then dives into the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. It has 4 beaches one of which played a part in the Allied invasion in1944 Rayol-Canadel mixes its resorts assets and its typical Mediterranean Provencal village.

Thanks to the strict respect of the construction laws on the coast, Rayol-Canadel-sur-mer has protected its coastline and the village is one of the districts in the region the best preserved.
