Situation and Directions

From your camp site Esterel Caravanning it takes around 50 minutes to get to the village of Seillans. When leaving Esterel Caravanning turn right direction Frejus – Saint Raphael. Once at Frejus take the motorway A8 direction Nice, exit at Fayence – Les Ardrets. Follow direction Fayence cross Colle Noire and Montauroux then follow directions to Seillans.


At 45 kilometres from Esterel Caravaning you’ll find the perched village of Seillans. Classed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, Seillans has a rich historical patrimony, since Roman times the village has always been very much appreciated notably for its situation.

It’s perched at 336 metres altitude and protected by its walls that still exist today. Numerous painters, poets and writers were charmed by Seillans. The Artist Max Ernst passed his final days in the village and his work of art “Le Génie de la Bastille” ornate’s the village place. This medieval village intoxicates everyone that discovers its small streets that seem to all run into the other, like a fabulous paved maze.
